Ginocchiere 3DF 5.0 Evo

Got these to replace my well worn Dainese Trail Skin Air knee pads. I like well ventilated pads, and am willing to sacrifice a bit of protection in favor of more cooling, as I'll be more inclined to wear them on my usual trail rides - and I've gotten into the habit of donning knee pads for every ride now. I couldn't find any reviews on these, so I took a chance as they seemed to hit all my requirements (well ventilated, washable/removable). It's cold season in Michigan, so I've only worn these under trail pants, but they are remarkable in how they stay-put on my knee, never ever slide down like my Daineses sometimes did (the were a bit saggy after two years of heavy use). The fit and how they wrap around your knee is fantastic - it's like a suction cup around your knee, but they don't get clammy or hot (even when buried under wool long underwear and trail pants). They completely disappear when pedaling and riding - but the well placed side and top pads take the sting out of frame strikes when hooning around. I can't wait to use these when spring and summer come, as I think I've found my new 'favorite pad ever'. Awesome!
