I got these instead of the 5.5 because I wanted a bit more flexibility and I have to say I am impressed. I am able to hug the bike with my legs very nicely and it feels supportive while maintaining a good feel with the pegs. My feet are wide and my calves are good sized, yet these boots feel slim overall. My only complaint is the bottom buckle pops open during in super gnarly terrain a bit more than it should. The sole has modest traction when pushing the bike as well. I should have gotten these boots sooner.
